"Breaks network on install, no support after 6pm pst"
Pros: none, other than it at least uninstalls nicely
Cons: You name it
Summary: Ok, being a network manager for over 20 years, I've had plenty on nightmare software installs and dealing with software companies, but Panda has to rank as one of the worst I have every paid any money too.
ON installing this software breaks the networks, and installs an app Webproxy.exe regardless of install method.
Problem 1 is that webproxy consumes 90% of system resources and refuses to end task or release resources.
Problem 2 poor and I do mean poor support. No after hours support, web based tools terribles, knowledge base is even worse. As for phone support only M-f ( I think 6am to 6pm pst)
Problem 3 cookie cutter email support typical response so far as been uninstall and re-install newer version. Only issue is that there isnt a newer install.
Problem 4 web searches turns up only hits to panda sites or complaints about webproxy.
Needless to say if I could rate it a 0 I would.
I think a virus would be better than getting this software to install.
BTW system I tried was an 64bit amd 1 gig mem 160 gb hd. System

I buy Panda Platnum in CompUs, pay $76.00 and that is cost of Stupidity, The software is nightmare and tech support sucks.
