Photo Explosion Deluxe ( v. 3.0 ) - complete package (01/03/2007)

Review: If the morphing tool was not available, I would have given it a 1 star. If it wasn't for the store rebate and for the manufacture's rebate, I would have gotten something else. The morphing tool is not user friendly. You have to spend some time playing with the buttons. The instruction book is not usefull.

Review: I was looking for a program to make dvd's of photo's and movies for a family reunion, and seen this in one of the major store nice price and a rebate, so I picked it up. Installed it on my computer and it worked fine. Then I saw you need to pay more to get a code to allow the program to make dvd's so I put out the money for that. The manual is ok, I have seen better and worse and after awhile and some trials and errors I figured it out and got my dvd's made. Skip forward to about 6 months later and have not used the program in that time, now it isn't working correctly, so having a above average knowledge of computers I tried to fix what was wrong, nothing worked. I contacted customer service and everything they said to try I had, but did them again just to make sure, still not working right. Contacted customer service and said to install on another computer which I did and it worked, tried the original computer and still not working correctly. Customer service response the first time, you will have to use it on another computer. What if you don't have another computer to use was my response. Next from customer service was there is a conflict error on the computer, Well I knew that, so basically customer service tells you basic stuff to check and if it doesn't work, use another computer.
No I would not recommend this product, and I will be looking for another to do the same.

Review: I absolutly loved Photo Explosion 2.0, however it began crashing at start up, so I called Nova Development about the problem and read them all of the codes and the like. The support person i spoke with said that he was familiar with the problem, and the only way to resolve it was to reinstall windows, or upgrade to Photo Explosion Deluxe 3.0 which i gladly did since i loved the program. It took almost three weeks to arrive, I installed it, and it worked wonderfully.... ONCE. Then i got the same error messege. I again called tech support, and was told that they are aware of the problem as it effecting many other people, but had no idea of a timeframe on a fix. I called Nova Developemnt's customer service department again to express my concerns and was transfered to a non existant extention. I called back and was informed that at almost 8am, there are no members of management in the office.
