    "Go with SD!"

    on February 7, 2003

Summary: I just heard that Panasonic SD capacity will reach 1GB in 2003 and works in everything from my Palm to my HP printer to my Panasonic camera! I am definitely impressed with the 256MB product which holds 4 hours of music on my MP3, but psyched to see what 1GB can do. And, I know SD media at 1GB is "backward compatible" with all my products, which is great! FYI - you won't find that in Memory Stick cards! In addition, the data transfer rates on the cards are quite quick, especially when compared to Memory Stick. My first digital camera was a Sony and it took forever to read the card. I have been so much happier interfacing with SD! This format will win out because it's fast and flexible!
