is slow in the scan, the data base is poor, and doesnt fine too much important threats

I have a brand new computer.All the bells & whistles.I wanted a program to protect it.Spyware Doctor with Anti-Virus made my computer run like it HAD A VIRUS.Hard to uninstall.Impossible to get a refund.Company says "quick refund if not satisfied".
Stay away.There are dozens of programs out there that perform the promised functions of this software. This software is cumbersome, and customer service is literally non-existent. I've tried contacting customer service no fewer than ten (10) times in the past month. All I ever get is a automated response that a "ticket" has been created and I should expect an answer in 24-36 hours. There's never an any answer.There's no answer in 24 hours. Heck, there hasn't been an answer in almost a month! Never again. NEVER AGAIN.
Easy to install, runs in the background with a minimum of intervention from user. Protection from threats seems to be pretty bombproof.
My laptop now takes a good 15 minutes to boot while Spyware Doctor faffs around doing whatever, leaving my PC paralysed. Sometimes browser activity slows to the point where it has to be closed and the application relaunched.
Frustrating to have keystrokes and mouseclicks ignored because Spyware Doctor has decided that what it's doing is more important and is hogging the processor. Great if you want to make your PC immune from online low-lifes, I just hope you're not in a hurry.
