"Absolutely no Improvement"
Pros: Better than IE
Cons: Still a big memory hog, updating extensions for each Firefox update since they aren't compatible, no increase of speed or an intergrated anti-fishing filter, no improvements on the Acid2 test, etc
Summary: Still, very little improvement from the 1.0 series. It's still a memory hog after you install those extensions. Also, there still no session saving or extra tab features nor there is a interface for reading RSS without going through the menu without an extension. 1.5 beta still didn't make any improvement in the acid2 test and NO ANTI-PHISHING SOFTWARE INTERGRATED?!
Firefox needs more improvement to become the best browser. Downloaders Beware! Use Opera 8.5 instead!

I think there is something missing here; It's not fair

The writer has the right to give the rating he did. He has pointed out a number of things that the update has made worse. Even if you think that a rating of 1 is unfair, what do you two think is fair - only a 9 or 10? This writer provides balance for all of those "unfair" 10's, in my opinion. I guess all of those people have 512MB-2GB of RAM and little else running! I would recommend the Maxthon IE shell that has all or most all of the features that FF and Opera have.

While your dislikes might be justified, rating the browser a 1 is useless and downright ignorant of what the rating system is all about. Sheesh.

Your untenable comments aside..which I believe can be addressed by most firefox users here...giving the browser a 1 is downright malicious. Which is why I am going to give a rating of 10 just to even out your childish screed.
