"Opera is awesome, and to the editor...it does provide a list of previous pages"

by Valgon on June 20, 2006

Pros: All the features the other browsers have, tabbed browsing, trash can where you can get old pages you accidentally closed, saves all pages so it looks exactly the same even if your computer loses power

Cons: If you open too many tabs it slows down (like 25-30 though, yeah i know thats too many, but I get spoiled when I never have to close them heh), some websites don't support because it's less popular.

Summary: To sum it all up, opera is awesome. The editor who reviewed it didn't try to hold down the left click button on the back button, which DOES show all the previous sites you visited like the other browsers.

I love the way I can find some page that I don't feel like reading right away, I can just leave it there and I don't ever have to worry about losing it, except then I end up having about 20+ tabs open, which makes it take longer to open opera if it's been minimized for a while or if you open it anew.

It also has tons of useful cool features, like the trash and other random stuff. You know something's great when you love it at first, and then you find out more stuff about it that makes you love it even more. Also another cool thing about opera is that it stores all the pages you go to somewhere, so when you press the back button it's (except on a rare occasion) always instantaneous, regardless of your internet speed. The interface is also very compact, giving you the most space to view the actual page, which is always a plus.

Of course there are also useless cool things that might be useful to some people like the voice commands and mouse gestures(which would be cool but there are so many to memorize), the only thing I would like to see added is a feature that would highlight the word you search for when you press ctrl+f like firefox.

To sum it all up again, opera is awesome.

Try pressing the "." character, and a search pops up in the corner. Type anything there and any word that matches will be highlighted!

hey the control + f the basic find tool for users of IE but for u and me we have the forward slash (/) press that and start typing what u want to search on the page

i know u know where it is

And for other amateur users forward slash is beside num lock button and left hand side of shift buttons in most key boards

    Cheers OPERA ROCKS
