The Bottom Line The 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid delivers plenty of power and digital entertainment features, but its thirsty engine keeps it from ruling the road. Honda takes an old favorite and makes it even more ecofriendly and economical, but the Civic Hybrid can't keep up with the Toyota Prius's performance. A comfortable, stylish car with limited audio components, the 2006 Honda Accord Hybrid is a pleasure to drive when it gets going, but with a higher price tag and lower gas mileage than the 2006 Accord EX, potential buyers will question the wisdom of buying one. The 2006 Honda Accord EX is fun to drive but bland in the looks department. Its navigation system is top notch, but the audio system lets it down considerably. The restyled 2008 Honda Accord EX-L looks good and offers a very comfortable drive. It works well as a commuter and family car, and its low emissions make it an environmentally conscious choice, but don't expect the most cutting-edge cabin tech.
