The Bottom Line	Sacrificing comfort for performance, the STi offers a great driving experience but little in the way of frills.	The 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX is a fantastically fun car to drive spiritedly and show off to friends, but the lack of in-cabin technology and sudden engine power can make it a bit tiresome in everyday driving.		While the new Lancer GTS boasts amenities not seen on other cars in its class, a powerful engine isn't one of them. But if rally car looks, nice tech options, and a booming stereo are more your speed, this Mitsubishi is an excellent choice.
