2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Pros: AWD, crazy handling, incredible performance, reasonable price, room for 4 (maybe 5), easy to drive, low maintenance (and cheap)

Cons: A little loud on the highway, uhhh...fuel economy...hmm..I'm struggling

Summary: This car is an absolute blast to drive. I wouldn't say that I feel like I'm always "on the edge" when I'm driving - it's acutally very civilized and easy to drive around. It's almost supercar fast, yet can go through snow like a truck (with snow tires of course). Maintenence is as cheap (if not cheaper) and easy as any car I have ever owned. The best part is that I can still fit a child seat in the back or haul 3 other adults when needed. Sure it's a little noisy on the highway and the ride is stiff, but what do you expect? With different tires, you can sacrifice a little performance and get a softer, quieter ride if you want. The stock sound system is a little weak, but is easily changed (i'm fine with it, however).
