"Awesome But On The Small Side!"
Pros: Perfomance Per Pound & Resale Value
Cons: Size & Reliability
Summary: This car has allot going for it - except interior volume. Although a bit pricey for its size the iDrive system appears to be solved, although Infiniti has the better solution. I give a small nod to the 330i over Acura's TL for handling and Exterior/ Interior Styling although the TL lives larger, has more value (what you get for what you spend), eqaully good fuel economy, and a much better sound system. The Audi A4 is getting long in the tooth while the New VW Passat comes out of the gate strong.
The achilles heel for most German sedans is their poor service record. I for one am not willing to spend time waiting in a service department or renting loaner cars (be sure to ask your dealer about including this pickup and delivery service for any service work, incl. oil change changes, and have it written into the sales contract). Infiniti and Lexus both understand the value of my time. When Germans are equally confident in the reliability of their vehicles the rest of the world had better watch out! So at this juncture my pick for best sport sedan of the lot under $40k is the Infiniti M35! Be sure to test drive the M35 before you make a final purchasing decision. The M35 is not for everyone but you will leave the dealership knowing where the bar has been set for a sports sedan. Happy Hunting.
