"Don't Do It!"
Pros: Excellent Ride
Cons: Two many electrical issues (windows bounce up and down). Navigation not always functional. Bluetooth locks up entire display even when engine is turned off and is limited to specific phone models.
Summary: Owned the 2001 530 and loved it. Test drove the 2004 and was impressed. Had it about 3 months and was nothing but problems, it was in the BMW service center more than in my garage. BMW bought back the 2004 and upgraded me to the 2006 as a customer courtesy. Bad mistake, I went from the frying pan right into the fire. I am very disappointed with BMW!

don't buy the 2006 BMW 530i it's been a nightmare, first the computer had a bad chip, side mirror not working, then a recall for the front shocks, back to the dealer, it's been there for two weeks, and it's not fix yet, they gave me a rental (a corolla), very bad customer service can't solve any problem, North America BMW it's worthless, the told me if the car is there (at the shop) for three months then call us back, I owned a Volvo S-80 Great service they even changed my headlight bulbs for free?

If you have not already heard the Acura TL is just as luxurious, holds its' value better, and comes with all the extras but they are inclusive in every vehicle! So many ppl that I know have the 2006 BMW 530i and have traded exchanged them for the luxurious TL at our dealership. If you are having the same disappointments check out the TL! If you want more info. call 748-9715 to make an appt. You guarantee you will be very impressed you test drive this car!!!
