"The Fusion is a lot of car for the Money."
Pros: Great Fit and Finish, Good Horsepower and Fuel economy. Very Stylish exterior and Extremely comfortable interior. 6 speed automatic transmission keeps the torque right on the mark.
Cons: Would like the engine compartment to be a little more "SHOWIE". Dress it up a little, it looks like a car from the 80's under the hood.
Summary: I am very pleased with my 2006 Fusion SEL. The ride is tremendous, interior is comfortable, Horsepower is respectable @221 hp and 205 ft lbs of torque, it's no slug. I average 24.3 mpg around town and 30 mpg on the highway. The 6 speed automatic transmission shifts exactly when it needs to. My opinion, The Fusion is A Lot of Car for a little price. I'm Happy to have it in my driveway. Love the Styling, wish it had a V8 available.
