"A Real Winner"
Pros: Reliability, Nav. System, New Suspension
Cons: Styling, Brakes Take Longer to Stop
Summary: I traded-down from "luxury" cars for a more-affordable alternative. I have the loaded Accord with a V6, Leather and Navi. This essentially is the Acura TL under a different badge. What a wonderful car. No complaints; although, I wish Honda would make an auto-dimming mirror standard and integrate bluetooth as with the Acura. These are small things that would make this a real contendor when selling against the Camry and the Altima.
The Nav, the XM radio and the interior really make this car a joy to drive. The Nav. voice commands are difficult to train and they take a lot of time to learn. Do not buy the Accord without Nav. as it really differentiates this car from the rest of the pack.
The refined suspension yields a sporty daily commute. I like the suspension over the 2007 Camry because it feels sportier.
The brakes could use refinement as they take a long time to stop the car, but they are adequate.
Side airbags are standard and you do not have to pay extra for standard safety features as you do with the Camry.
Resale will be high and I will sell this when the new Accord styling arrives in 2008.
You will not get a lot of looks with this car, but you can trust the excellent build quality not to let you down.
