"Best Luxury Car Available"
Pros: Best Car Stereo Ever, Superbly Quiet and Supple Ride, Brilliant Ergonomics, Phenomenal Engine(Performance and Efficency), Reliability, Safety, Quality, Excellent Styling(IMO), Reasonable Price
Cons: Difficult Process to Get The 19" Wheels
Summary: It's hard to explain how phenomenal this car is at everything a luxury car should be. Let me start off by saying that I did ALOT of comparison between the new Mercedes S Class, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8 and found this car to be more suited to MY needs(I am not saying one is better than another they all have aspects I liked). First off the exterior styling is a huge step up from its predecessor and I like it much more in real life than in pictures. Another high point is the interior which is well crafted and miles easier to use than those quite annoying German setups(The creator of iDrive should be fired). Not only is the interior beautiful, but it also stays very hushed and supple while driving. This was one thing that impressed me the most as my IS350 was considerably louder than this car. The main reason I traded up was because I got a large promotion and consequently am forced into an hour morning drive so therefore I wanted a more sedate car(I guess I'm just getting old). The one thing that continually impresses me with Lexus products is the high reliability, build quality, and efficiency of every machine they make. The LS is the flagship and takes these qualities to an even higher level, with the car feeling like it is flawless in its presentation. And the mileage(I observed 25 and I mostly drive highway) is quite awesome for the amount of power it provides. Another high note is the nav system which is smart, fast, and easy to use as are the rest of the controls. I can't say much about the parallel parking system as I haven't used it yet and don't intend to either. But the best part about the car by far is the stereo. All of my CDs sound phenomenal and better than my home theater. The only downside of the car(more of my fault) was the fairly difficult process of getting the optional...optional 19 " wheels put on. All in all this car fits my needs perfectly, it's whisper quiet and smooth on the highway, has the best stereo ever put in a car, is powerful yet efficent, a nav system that is easy and WORTH USING, and looks and sounds good doing all of it. I think it's perfectly executed, and worth every penny.
