"Great Car! But remember this is not a Prius!"
Pros: Drives like a dream. Handles very well. Battery is very inexpensive compaired to Prius.
Cons: MPG less than a Prius. Could benifit from more features.
Summary: This car is not a full all out hybrid. It drives like a dream. The MPG is not what you'd expect from a hybrid but is a lot better than a regular gas powered vehicle of it's size. The cost to replace the battery is about 10% of the cost of replacing a Prius battery. So it's a balancing act between better MPG with an expensive battery and less MPG with a much less expensive battery.

I don't know about you, but in my opinion, the Honda Insight was a much better hybrid (it was discontinued for whatever reason), it was like a mix between GM's EV-1 and the Prius, I mean, it was a two seater and I believe it was a hatchback as well, but it had a gas engine... And higher MPG - the difference was note-worthy.

Toyota has an 8 year 100,000 mile warranty on all hybrid related parts. In other words, you don't have to worry about replacing that battery for a loooong time (assuming it actually goes out in that time. They're supposed to be pretty long lasting). Saturn on the other hand, doesn't have any warranty on it's hybrid components.
In 8 years, they'll probably have much better/cheaper batteries available anyway (lithium ion batteries are coming along pretty well so far)
