  • "Best value for a Luxury Sports Sedan on the market!"

Pros: Excellent ride quality when leisure driving and even better balance when leaning through corners. Interior ergonomics are far superior to any of its class competition. Extremely comfortable for all passengers. 8 airbags keeps the family safe.

Cons: Gas mileage in city driving (consistently get 33mpg on hwy, at 62mph) But what do you expect from a 286hp 3.5L V6? Be smart, buy a cold air intake. More power when wanted, better gas mileage when you dont.

Summary: If driving from point A to point B is for you, this car ISN'T. This is for the sport minded, luxury car loving, safety oriented drivers. Stock vehicles usually leave you craving for more, for just a little bit better. With the exception of better brake pads(Hawk, if you like to drive hard at times) the Type S leaves you wanting for naught. From the body lines to the wheels, from the balanced suspension to the powerful V6 with F1 paddle shifters and silky smooth shifts, from the enveloping seats to the voice-activated controls all of which are perfectly placed in the event your NOT a shmuck, this Acura is one of the very best out there (barring the NSX). It can be a comfy family car keeping you safe from all directions, until you drop the wife and kids at home and take a cruise to the twistys. Though understeer is prevalent, with proper apexing and throttle control this can be a very capable FWD sports sedan your wife can drive without giving you a coronary thinking shes going to wreck. All this is topped off with the reliability, longevity and reputation of Honda/Acura. So when you DO want to upgrade, this cars resale value will still be there. Is it possible to go wrong? Yes, of course, if you're buying from a nimrod who doesn't take care of his car. Short of that, i don't believe so.
