"good path Cadillac"
on by Peshmerga1Pros qulity/price
Cons No bluetooth (OnStar)
Summary good looking car, outside with a sporty muscles exterior nice redesigned interior much better quality and look than the older model. good power for a the base Cadillac. you get lots of luxury for the price. I believe GM might Understand now that they have to keep up the quality for the European competitors as its important. one more thing you guys from CNET can you please stop talking just about AUX jacks, ipods and CD changers in the car. talk more about the quality, powertrain, Drivability and feel of the car. not just these little jombo mombo that we all can install and find out easily thank you.

"Best Car for the Money"
on by Z064everPros Have a DI V6. Excellent response along with GM 6 speed auto.
Cons There are none.
Summary Had BMW, Volvo, and etc.. the CTS with summer performance package blows them all away. For thousands more the imports don't come close. Buy American, keep your jobs here.

"Buyer Beware"
on by alan4327Pros Sound System
Cons Poor Reliability
Summary Great sound system and comfortable ride. That said 9 days in the repair shop with less than 3 months ownership (equates to over one month per year) says buyer beware. Battery died the second day I owned the car. The the service traction control and service engine lights came on with under 2700 miles on the car. I hope Cadillac never solves the problem and gives me my money back. Incidentally, they are charging me user fees/taxes on the rental car I am driving my they are trying to fix my car. For $45,000+ one would expect better from Cadillac.

"Great Value for A Fabuous Looking Luxury Car!"
on by RosanneCatPros I love my 2008 Cadillac CTS which looks fabulous. The red exterior color attracted my eye along with the sporty/classy style. The cabin featurs an expanded sunroof & Bose Stereo. The price tag was reasonable compared to the Mercedes and Lexus cars.
Cons No Homelink on the rearview mirror or visor, only OnStar which I will not use. No sunglass overhead storage compartment. Small glove compartment. Wish the back seats folded down so you can transport more long stuff in your truck. Nothing's Perfect.
Summary Bottom line, I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a really attractive car, turns lots of heads and drives extremely well. The car rides really smooth and quiet. A joy to drive. I would highly recommend test driving this car. It's a good value too. You can't go wrong with driving a Caddy which has a long history of class!
