"The most fuel efficent midsize for the price"
5.0 starson by Fredrick_NPPros: Beautiful styling, great interior, very quiet, very affordable.
Cons: Hybrid model not available with nicer features
Summary: Everyone complains about how this doesn't have the fuel economy of something like the Camry hybrid. But what they don't take into consideration, this is a very inexpensive hybrid. It's about the same price as a non hybrid Camry with similar equipment. And with the tax rebate you get for owning a hybrid, it barely costs anything at all.
And aside from all that this is just a very good car. It rides and handles well. Looks great, especially with it's beautiful long wheelbase. And has a ton of standard equipment such as 6 airbags, stability control, and XM radio.
I like cnet... but some of their car reviews are incredibly ignorant.

"The most fuel efficient midsize for the price"??? Not even close. The Prius is almost exactly the same size spec for spec, gets more than 50% better gas mileage and is about $1-2k cheaper. And that is just one choice ... there are several others that are of comparable size that get better gas mileage and have a lower sticker price than the Malibu.
