The Bottom Line The restyled 2008 Honda Accord EX-L looks good and offers a very comfortable drive. It works well as a commuter and family car, and its low emissions make it an environmentally conscious choice, but don't expect the most cutting-edge cabin tech. The restyled 2008 Honda Accord EX-L looks good and offers a very comfortable drive. It works well as a commuter and family car, and its low emissions make it an environmentally conscious choice, but don't expect the most cutting-edge cabin tech. The 2006 Honda Accord EX is fun to drive but bland in the looks department. Its navigation system is top notch, but the audio system lets it down considerably. While we found the 2007 Honda Accord very enjoyable to drive, it fell short on a couple of key areas, most noticeably in its stereo system. The 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD tries to strike a balance between comfortable commuter car and weekend sport driver, but leans towards the former. Cutting edge cabin tech increases the comfort level and gives it a practical edge.
