"Like the BA$E price for $ure !"
Pros: Huh? Doe sit come in RED ?
Cons: Price seems out fo reason but who's asking
Summary: Yeah, Sci Fi dashboard, adaptive cruise seems whorthwhile ; the rest is there to justify the $104,000 BASE price.

American cars work fine. Profits stay in USA. Families survive. Our country does better.

Call it a bit of social class profiling, but I seriously doubt many people who type in pseudo-leet own one of these.

there is a hugeeeeeee gap in between this sedan and the best American sedan what ever it is. this is in my opinion is better than a S600 Mer or 760 BMW, you get top quality with best reliability Lexus are advanced and build very well. American has to wake up because the American car quality in general is gone down so bad that can't be compared to any European or Japanese cars unless you don't know much about cars and whats inside

Yes, buy the Mexican-Built Ford Fusion and send money to the same people we're trying to keep from coming in this country illegally. At least the Camry and Accord are built in the US. Also, name one American car that is in the same class as the Lexus LS. The Cadillac DTS? That's only an option of you're over 60 and forgot how far the Cadillac name has fallen in the last few decades. As for the price, this car goes up against the Audi A8 V12, the BMW 760i, and the Mercedes S600. All of those cars cost at least 10-20k more than the LS. It's a hell of a bargain and you don't have to deal with the various i-Drive derivatives in the Germans.

Never ceases to amaze me the crap people say.

When an American company makes a car in which the AC doesn't stop working after two years, the motor mounts break down and an interior that doesnt look like it was designed by a 2 year old then i'll consider buying an American car. Buy a Japanese car and it'll last for 10-15 years and still hold its resell value. The majority of Japanese cars are made in America, just better quality....American car companies should take lessons from Japanese.

Why are you cutting down a car with another vehicle that is not even remotely in the same class?

There are no American luxury brands. Cadillac and Lincoln play in the "near luxury" catagory because their parent companies squandered thier incredible heritage with badge-swapping and poor build quality. Chrysler is now German-owned.
It's all about capitalism. I will not pay for an inferior product when the company won't keep jobs in the country and refuses to build a competative product.
My car was designed in the USA, built in the USA and is the only car made in the USA and shipped to China for sale. I drive an Acura TL. You can support this country by choosing not to buy a car because its company CEO and directors live here.
