"MPG not good enough"
Pros: build, handling
Cons: mpg, handling
Summary: Overall it sounds like a good car, but for all the engineering it has, getting 20mpg doesn't cut it with $90 a barrel oil. I consistently get mid 20's around town and low 30's highway in my 06 325...

I agree. My friend has the same problem. He lives in Upstate NY. He gets like 19 miles to the gallon. The engine needs to get fixed in future version to be more efficient. It only produces 228 HP but drinks like if it were trapped in a freakin' desert for 100 years, metaphorically speaking that is.

I don't know what your driving conditions are, but I get 20 MPG when I start it and with 10K miles of mixed driving I am averaging 23.9 MPG. On a recent trip of 1200 miles, I averaged 31.5 MPG on the way their (I have photos of the speedometer LCD rtip reading) and 30.7 on the return trip I suspect I may have been heading into a slight head wind or the traffic was a little heavier on the return leg.
