Pros: "Bank vault" fit and finish, better than BMW and Audi.
Top sound and telephone systems. Logical and seamless.
Inimitable Mercedes feel, at this price? Lexus or Ininiti? No chance.
Cons: No split folding rear seat or ski pass through.
Trunk is deep but not wide enough for golf clubs square across.
Summary: I traded my sporty and lightning fast 2008 Infiniti G35XS for the C300. To compare the two cars is unfair to both. They are entirely different vehicles. The G35 is a sports car in a sedan body, and it shows, -- fantastic power delivery, handling, and precise, stiff, road manners, but incapable of delivering the daily driving comforts of the C300. Interior comforts are compromised -- if even attainable -- in the G35 unless optioned way above $40,000, which is hard to justify when considering the competition.
The C300 "Sport" is an excellent performer, but no barn-burner. Instead, it delivers exceptional ride quality and logical internal systems and creature comforts which someone like me, who drives 30,000 miles a year to and from my office, enjoys, without floating along in a Lexus, Buick or Cadillac.
