"Excellent styling, excellent nav. sys., needs more HP"
Pros: Great ride, great navigation. Very good, predictable handling. Exterior styling is exceptional when viewed from the front. Command Center is very user friendly, voice activation works well.
Cons: Lack of low end torque. You have to keep the revs above 4000 to make this car begin to act like its a sport model. Questionable build quality from the South African plant (poor hood alignment).
Summary: We've owned our 2008 C300 for 3 months and put 4000 miles on it. It has good driving characteristics with predictable German handling. Solid feel, except when you close the trunk (sounds a little tinny). Command Center is a must. There is a little wind noise at 70+ mph. Decent MPG's: 23 around town & 29 hwy. The 230 HP V6 is under powered but fuel efficient. This car is a nice, tame ride. If this car had an extra 75 HP it would be a lot more fun. If you want heart-pounding fun, get the C63 AMG.

How are the resale values of the car? I've heard that it loses 2/3rds of its price after the first 3 years of ownership. Is that true?
