"First time Honda owner" on by cnoles
Pros: Great get up and go! I downsized from a Silverado to my Civic... it's a change, but for the better. so far, I love it. I love how the inside looks modern, but not over the top. The buttons are placed well, and I like the deep dash board.
Cons: Small truck... I'm not too sure about where the gear shift is. odd place.
Summary: Over all, great value.

"Sporty design" on by Saturi
Pros: Good exterior and interior designs
Cons: No map pockets
Summary: Honda should offer this with 4 wheel disc brakes, most don't need sunroof in EX.

"Love my Civi LXS" on by randallsmusic
Pros: I think it is very stylish and well powered. Very tight on the road. Good gas mileage. Titanium/Urban color scheme is slick.
Cons: No rear wiper.
Summary: This car gets great mileage and does the job at a decent price. I have the 100,000 extended warranty because I plan on keeping it. It's been great so far, but I didn't need much. The other options would have been nice but I just wanted a good, middle of the road, new Honda. The stereo works well enough and I can use Griffin FM transmitter or aux input for my iPhone to listen to calls coming in while driving.
I think this is the best car I have ever owned. I know that real car techies would want more but I go to D.C. and back and forth to the country often and I feel pretty solid and safe in this car.
I was used to driving and Jimmy before and this car does seem to have a tendency to want to hydroplane with a little rain and speed so be careful on that.
Overall a good buy. Could have probabaly gotten a Hyundai with similiar performance for cheaper, but I didn't want a Hyundai. I wanted my Honda back. This is my second one in 10 years and it suites me fine! -
"Loving my new LX-S" on by redbeardce
Pros: Fuel economy
Responsive steering
Comfortable seating
Great sounding radio/CD
16" Alloy wheels
Expansive cabin
Sliding arm restCons: No blue tooth w/o navi package
Full rear seat fold down rather than splitSummary: Being the proud owner of a 2000 Civic Hatchback DX (kicked down to Son now)...this LX-S is the ultimate luxury in comparison. The interior has boat loads of more room over my 2000, peppier, and more fuel efficient (by a tad). Here's hoping I get 130,000+ out of this newer version too.

"Good Mid-priced model" on by satired
Pros: It has everything that makes Honda great & fits my budget(+ no hubcaps). The extras give the car the dressed up sporty appearance that I wanted. The tech and luxury stuff I did without was only because of price, but the LX-S interior is amazing.
Cons: Wish I had stereo with speakers and sub, but it sounds pretty great as is. If I want concert hall sound, I have that at home.
Summary: I chose Civic for reliability. I chose LX-S for the upgraded look. You can't go wrong, just see where your budget and your wish list meet! What a GREAT FUN car to drive!!!
