"Nissan Maxima SV" on by jasonzweibeck
Pros: The seats are air-conditioned, RCA video inputs in the center console- I connected a small laptop in the oversized glove box with a wireless sprint mobile broadband card, you can view your laptop on your main screen!
Cons: Doesn't have the throw-you-back-in-your-seat acceleration like I expected, but good enough for my family..
Summary: First off we need to clear up something up on the CNET review. The Bluetooth phone integration does import cell phone contact lists. I have a blackberry curve and a Samsung M320, both transferred all 220 contacts on the first shot... If you get the Maxima SV fully loaded, and compare it to others in the same class, you are savings thousands...

"I absolutely love my loaded Max" on by firefish45
Pros: Infinity like features
Very fun drive. I mean it just as I said it; FUN.Cons: I'd say in-dash DVD compatibility for premium owners, but they've already added it to the 2010.
Summary: Its not like an infinity. It IS an infinity. My 2009 Maxima is loaded with Premium + Technology packages without thinking about it. I just did it & I don't regret it at all.

"Poor build quality PAINT CHIPS, MOTOR DOESN'T LAST" on by kjweiler
Pros: zippy, smooth shifting on acceleration
Cons: Turning radius very poor, very bumpy ride, paint chipping a lot, motor uses lot's of oil and knocks.
Summary: read users experiences with NIssan warranty before you buy!
Do a google search and find out that this seems to be many people's experience. My engine started using a lot of oil years ago, they put it on a consumption test, and refused to conclude it was a real problem until the warranty expired. Now I am pretty well hooped as my son would say. The warranty department now tells us they will contribute ONe thousand to Fifteen hundred dollars toward a new vehicle. Wow, quite the offer!@#$%^! -
"Best car I have ever owned" on by psyclopps
Pros: Luxury, speed and comfort
Cons: Almost too much tech. Style is slightly tame. Hard drive takes a while to fill.
Summary: I purchased this car with an MSRP of 39k for 33k after incentives and a bit of haggling. The one I purchased is a 2010 SV with premium, tech and rear spoiler. In response to the video review where he comments on the interior styling... the sport he was driving has metal/plastic accents. If you go the premium route it is replaced with eucalyptus wood trip which looks much better on this car in my opinion. I moved up from a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT SE and compared to that car, the Maxima has much more off the line power. From a roll though, the Mitsu has a bit more acceleration although it would be hard to notice without some serious testing I am sure. As mentioned in the Cons, this car has almost too much tech which could be good or bad (good thing for a nerd like me). It took almost three hours of sitting in the car after purchase to try out all of the features and commit them to memory. Also, the 9.3 GB music box only accepts new MP3's via cd rip, you can not transfer them from a USB drive or other device. This works well but it is a slower CD drive and ripping can take a while if you have a big CD collection. I was worried the 10 GB would not be enough coming from my 32GB Zune HD but it gives you the option to encode the music at 105 kbps or 132 kbps which means plenty of music. I can not help but wonder which file format it is ripped to though. The NAV is amazing and it is just fun to play with along with weather/traffic updates. The voice recognition is very accurate compared to my other car, a 2008 Mazda CX-7. This unit required no training and recognized numbers, addresses and names on the first try. The wheel warmer is a nice bonus that I have never had before and warms up very quick. Some more frivolous features include rear audio/climate controls, rear motorized sunshade, dual powered moon roof, programmable maintenance reminders, etc... Overall, I am very glad I purchased this vehicle for such an amazing price. I would recommend it to anyone but would suggest that it is one of those cars you need to go all out on with features.
