"Stunning Car in all respects......"
on by lancerbPros Acceleration, Handling, Looks, Comfort, Fun!...
Cons Cost...(some minor complaints on the navigation and tech interface, looks great, just complex to use. Also the B&O subwoofer is rather weak).
Summary After 3 months of ownership I can't stop smiling everytime I drive the S4. A tight, responsive luxury sports car, that is a blast to drive even in traffic. The S4 is quiet, always composed, and quite fast. All wheel drive, 7 speed dual clutch auto and supercharger combine to deliver excellent power at almost any rpm, just push the gas and the g-forces build. Handling is amazing, point and the car goes exactly where you want to right now! Traction control and the sport differential work unobtrusively to keep the car planted, (i swear i hear the sound of velcro from the tires around tight corners, it sticks so well). Looks are a personal thing but I wasn't wanting the "boy racer" look, the sprint blue with titanium package is beautiful, if subdued, and has gotten many compliments. I can't comment on reliability yet but the initial build quality is excellent, the car is tight with no rattles and it's obvious a lot of thought went into the details (wonderful interior, great sounding B&O stereo (with one caveat above)). The car was expensive and i expect upkeep costs to be rather high too, but so far well worth it.
Do not pay attention to non-specific bad reviews, the S4 is well worth taking a look at. -

"2000 seemed good, wont do that again"
on by SuperGeek81Pros Looked nice
Was fast for the time
handled wellCons Expensive repairs, (and lots of them)
fit and finish looked like blind 3rd graders with elmers glue stuck parts on
everything broke at about 130K miles
it was a total POS
Lexus looks with Yugo qualitySummary It was fun and fast, handled well, and was fun to drive in all weather. it never left me stranded, but i got rid of it before the 85 camry i had at the same time. Everything broke, P-Windows didnt work, P-Locks didnt work, interior litterally fell apart, seats wore to the point that i had to buy seat covers. motor was garbage once it was no longer in warranty, parts are expensive and it needs to be fixed way to much. GM will nickle and dime you, Audi will 20 and 50 you. Although it was a nice looking car, i would buy anyting, even a moped before i bought another one.

"I Love my S4."
on by SuperDaveis54Pros Purrs like a kitten, growls like a beast. See my bottom line.
Cons Cup holders suck. Right in the way of my elbow when shifting... Audi - what were you smoking here?
Summary This is my second S4 (had a 2000 Imola Yellow beauty) and i was at first feeling like i lost some of the spunk of the old biturbo model in favor of luxury. This car is soooo darned nice inside and comfortable to drive.. However, now that it's broken in and i have put my foot into it a good bit, it's much faster and smooth as a baby's behind at 147 mph (with room to spare, still accelerating). It's twice the car of the 2010 A6 (drive both, you'll see) and it makes me smile every time i buckle up. Be sure and get the B&O stereo, awesome sound. Do it, you won't regret it. Esquire car of the year (read the review).
