Pros: 42 MPG on 50 mile highway drive
    smooth, quiet
no problems so far, only one oil change (10,000 miles)
    Sync is great
Little maintenance required (really just oil changes)
Instrument cluster is great and easy to use

Cons: lag with full acceleration while eCVT downshifts
    noisy on full throttle
didn't like recycled cloth seats, replaced with aftermarket leather

Summary: For someone who must drive around 25K per year, this is a great car. Very comfortable, quiet, smooth, good road manners, loaded with safety features. Have driven Mercedes and VWs for a number of years, on many aspects don't miss them and would certainly buy another FFH, as long as it remains reliable as it has been so far. Didn't like the recycled cloth seats, seemed to retain heat. In a cold climate this might have been a good thing, however opted to have aftermarket leather seats installed. Regularly gets 40-42 mpg with prolonged highway driving (some stretches are at 65-70mph), rarely see anything under 40 mpg (heavy rains and hot days seem to be lower), best drive home was 55 mpg on a 30 mile highway run (was trying to get good mileage, keeping speed under 65mph).

Now at 40,000 troublefree miles, in a little over 14 months of ownership. Absolutely fantastic vehicle, would most highly recommend. Getting much better mileage, no problem getting better than 45 mpg during warm months, even with AC on and driving long and fast highway distances (greater than 80 mile commute each day, with half between 60 - 70 mph). Overall mpg average now at 43 mpg, without trying to hypermile, and certainly don't drive slow. Don't expect to ever want to buy another gas only vehicle again once you have driven this for a while. Plenty of power, fun to drive while being a great highway cruiser. Preferred vehicle for trips, even over wife's Mercedes (my prior three vehicles were also premium German sedans). Seems screwed together well, finished nicely, and holding up so far to the miles. Sync, once you learn its voice/menu ideosyncracies is great. If this is what a 2nd gen hybrid can do, I wonder what the future will bring. I would certainly buy another.
