"Great looking, Bad SUV"

Cons Gaz millage could be better, more power too (V6 2.7L) Heard that 4 cylinders is the same (underpower). Dealer are all closed in my area (Gatineau, Quebec). Suzuki seem to have some problem keeping dealership open. The nearest one in my case is 30min away.
Summary Got a new GV V6 in 2008. Good VUS on road, but a shi*load bucket of problem, always on garage. Differential seal leaks, electronics problems, last failure a week ago: ABS pump, a $1500 part and i have only 57 000km on it. I never abuse the truck, only very light off road once a year, 80% of millage was on highway. Now on repair and for sale this week. Gonna trade this ?%$# for a Toyota or a Honda.
Yes they are beautiful SUV but don't buy it, quality its not there (at least fo me)! Im gonna write a complaint letter to Suzuki Canada for the 1st time of my life. Worst general experience ever with a vehicule and dealership in the last 20 years. -

Cons The so called professional reporters who want this car to perform like a Ferrari Scudera. This car beats them.

on by Lanes MergePros Tremendous amount of standard features, great price, powerful rugged 4x4 system, tough body, lots of safety features, high quality, looks great, comfortable interior, smart design. highway MPG is decent and can be up to 26MPG.
Cons gas mileage is as low as 17MPG in city driving
Summary My first Suzuki ever was a 2006 Grand Vitara Premium, now I'm about to upgrade to a 2010 Grand Vitara XSport. The Grand Vitara provides luxury, ruggedness and safety all in one efficient compact package. I found the CNET review of the Grand Vitara to be a bit snobby and overly critical. I think CNET reviewer should take another look at this SUV and reconsider what this vehicle offers for the price. Owning a Grand Vitara for several years gave me an appreciation of just how much thought Suzuki put into this vehicle and the 4x4 works really well in deep snow. I give the Grand Vitara a high rating.
