Pros This is a beautiful comfortable sedan, luxury and performance are excellent.
Cons Sadly, there are dozens of competitors who make cars as good or better at $10-20k less. Unless you spend a lot of time on empty freeways driving long distance, this car is way too limousine-like for everyday driving or navigating in American cities.
Summary There are better performing cars for far less money, more luxurious cars for far less money. Cadillac, Lexus, hell, even a top of the line Chrysler 300 SRT will give this car a run.
Pros Wonderful interior and electronics.
Cons BMW never repaired the problem with Oxegenated fuel.
The did replace the engine 4 times, but never would put a new (fixed)engine in it.
Summary Could have been a wonderful car, if only BMW had stood behind it. I spent 2 years listening to the factory people telling that my Ford Aerostar was not faster or more reliable. I'd still like them to make it right!
Pros Improved styling
Cons Isn't this the same engine that's been plagued with high pressure fuel pump failures?
Too big to be fun to drive.
Summary The first BMW I every bought was a 318i with a stick. Great fun to drive. I gradually bought the larger BMWs: I had a 535i in the early 90s, and then a 740iL. I then started going back to the smaller cars-the 5 and 3 series cars are much more fun to drive. The 7s are nothing but an mainstream luxury car. They are simply too big to be fun to drive. There really isn't any point in getting a 5000 lb. porky BMW in opinion.
Pros NONE THAT I CAN THINK OF
Cons THIS IS TYPICAL OF BMW THEY TRY TO SELL GAGETS IN THE VEHICLE TO EXPLAIN OR JUSTIFY THEIR PRICES. $ 70,000 BUT FALL SHORT, THIS VEHICLE IS.HIGHER PRICED!!!! 535 BMW .THE INTERIOR IS COLD AND HAS NO FEALINGS NO PIZAZZ.!!!!
Summary I HATE TO SAY IT BUT THE JAPANESE AND KOREAN CAR MAKERS ARE GOING TO WIN THIS WAR ???
"Looks like car.."on by gary85739
Pros Has 4 wheels
Cons $70,000 hahahahahaha
Summary Invest that 70G's in pork bellies rather than squander it on just an average vehicle...
