Pros 283HP Pentastar
Exterior and Interior Styling
Quiet and Comfortable
An Absolute Bargain
Cons none at this time
Summary After test driving just about every midsize car offered I chose a Chrysler 200 LTD, have only had it for about a week and a 1/2....already put 1000 miles on it and it's just perfect thru and thru.
So go test drive a Camry and Accord (comparably equipted) then try one of these. Save 3-5K and get a dose of luxury missing in all the others.
Pros 6-cyl pentastar engine is smooth and powerful, works well with the associated 6-sp transmission... a sophisticated drive-train combination that lets this car pull like a BMW. Interior quality nicely done but not overdone, thoughtful design touches. Plen
Cons drives like the sedan it is... steering could be more responsive (sporty), but handling overall is pretty good.
Summary Excellent blend of form and function, especially with the 6-cyl/6-sp upgrade. I test drove both engine setups (also the 4-cyl) and the 6 makes all the difference, placing this car in an upper level for the price. With incentives it became my choice over Hyundai/Kia and other brands. Bravo, Chrysler.
Pros Not overpriced as BMW or Acuras are
Cons No cons, I bought this car and I enjoy driving it
Summary This car is what I wanted.
I wanted a new car after many years with the same car that I donated to get a write off.
The Pentastar V6 offers more than enough acceleration and speed so I use the cruise control to avoid getting speeding tickets on the highway, and is has a pleasant quiet ride.
The size is superior to more expensive cars such as the BMW 3 and the Acura TL series at thousands of $$$$ that I am not giving to those firms.
It is stylish, enjoyable, and it is what suits me and many others today.
Thanks Chrysler designers and engineers !
Pros I worked at a Chrysler dealership for a little over a year and loved the way this car looked and it sold itself to hundreds of people.
Cons Personally, I haven't found any cons yet other than that it is so similar to the Sebring.
Summary The person reviewing this needed to review the Limited or S options. You're a tad "slow" if you choose the Touring. I have the 2012 Limited and I love it (compared to my 2009 Dodge Avenger RT.) These car's are affordable, ride wonderfully, and look sharp! I think this needs reviewed again with a different level option for sure.
Pros Love the Navigation system and the Bluetooth phone. All the controls on the steering wheel front and back side. Heated leather seats and V6 engine. Overall as nice as our friends Lexus and BMW.
Have not tried the hidden DVD player behind the Nav system ye
Cons As a con, it would be nice if the recirculate air would not have to be manually turned on every time I restart the car.
Summary My wife and I were looking at the Ford Fusion and the Mazda 6 along with the Chrysler 200. We were getting rid of our Honda Accord.
The Chrysler was nicer and had more options for the money.
We ended up with a fully loaded limited, and could not be happier.
