"Catching up?"on by barrystockton
Pros Seems to pack a lot in for the money
Cons MPG needs to be improved
Summary Hyundai are now making very good cars and offer great value for moneyIts funny isnt it - in the 1950s BMW made 3 wheel cars that were just dreadful, i know, i owned one, yet this company has now risen to "cult" status. Even Mercedes were not that great 25 years ago. Yet this reviewer writes off the Equus because it is a Hyundai.

I own both a Mercedes and a Hyundai, (have also owned several BMWs). I bought the Hyundai as a value purchase, not really expecting much. However, I have been amazed at the quality of the vehicle, its quiet, reliable, nothing rattles, the engine is powerful and refined, the doors close with a nice clunk. In contrast, my Mercedes gearbox failed after 3 years and 26000 miles and because it was out of warranty I had to argue with Mercedes for them to pay 50% of the cost. The Germans and Japanese manufacturers should be worried, because the Koreans are catching up, they offer very good value, combined with a long warranty, and do not just trade on their name to sell a well made product. Car snobs beware, the Koreans are here.
Pros nice price for features
Cons not as refined as the others
Summary To the guy above slamming the car. Go and read the reviews from Automobile, Motor Trend, Car and Driver... They all praise the car's build and feature set. ITs not as refined as the others, but its also been reviewed as saying don't pass it up, if you are interested in teh features. Considering this is Hyundai's 1st attempt into luxury in this class, they did a good job. A few years ago, even the Mercedes were slipping when Chrysler owned them. Unless you own and have driven the car, you shouldn't slam it on your preconceived notions.
Pros Bang for the buck!!!
Cons Still somewhat not as desireble to drive (many personal factors involved) Still more room to improve and refine.
Summary I watched the video, I check out the specs and it is considered "dirt cheap" compared to other luxury cars. However, I just can't shake the feeling of "nothing good comes cheap". And I think it's just me. If I have a family of three or four, I would definetely consider this car, and hopefully by then the Equus will make all the right changes. (Especially driver seat luxury, because I don't think why the car has all the perks on the back seat? Really? lol.)
Pros People like shotnoise always make up stuff to make what he doesn't like look bad, provably never even drove this car!
Summary How amazing is it that the equus won the j.j powers best large car award and lexicon is one of the best stereo systems available but yet for our friend, it is bad!go figure.
What I can say is that the LDSAS is one of, if not the best audio system I've heard in an automobile, and I've heard quite a few.

Pros good driving cae for now
Cons I have an 2011 Equus. When I first bought the car I noticed that the sound system did not sound right. The dealer replaced the entire driver information system. When I got the car back from the dealer I tried to put an address into the GPS. I could not fi
Summary Hyundai does not know how to service a premium car
