Pros: Redesigned exterior, 18 inch wheels, beautifully engineered touch screen & voice activation with bluetooth phone capability, navigation, xm, ipod dock, cd/mp3, comfy seats, smooth suspension, extremely roomy, big trunk, home link, great mpg

Cons: below avg and slow responding acceleration, unimpressive engine,

Summary: I did a month's worth of research, open to all types of cars (American/Asian/European, Sedan/Coupe/SUV) and I ended up purchasing the 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE. I guarantee you will not find more value in a car for the price. The new exterior makes heads turn. But it's the interior that puts the Sonata ahead of the crowd. The beautifully crafted and perfectly engineered touch screen system that ties everything together is a pleasure to use. I can browse/search my entire phonebook or if I'm driving, I can use the voice command to call one of my friends. The navigation system works seamlessly even when I am listening to the radio or on the phone with a client. The cabin is extremely spacious and the seats are comfortable. I could go on and on, but I can tell you in just weeks, you'll see this car everywhere on the streets.

How do you explain the abyssmal resale value of korean cars--after 5 years, the engine is guaranteed to conk out--that is the reason why their warranty lasts for 5 years, when the engines conked out on you, the Hyundai car salesman will just tell you to buy another one---they have no replacement for their engines! No resale value= junk yard beauty!

what a joke--is there reto contruct a car--really such a thing as korean technology? Do these people even know how construct a car--or this sonata is just a cheap imitation of the innovations/inventions made by the Japanese and German car techies--will never settle for a cheap imitation--great looks but mediocre engine and construction! Do not be a sucker and fall for looks but not a lot of substance!
