"I love this car"on by tycoon1980
Pros Everything for a car in the mid-sized class is out of this world but the tires.
Cons Tires...they sucks
Summary I own the SX fully loaded model. The only thing i dont like about this car is the tires. They will slip even on road painting markings. I plan to see how they do through the iowa winters and if they suck (like i think they will), i will plan to upgrade the tires to do better during all season and performance. Other then the tires its the best car i have owned to date.
Pros With the three S's covered, what more could you want for the MONEY? I got much more than comparable cars for the amount of money I've spent. I've previously had a Spectra and loved it. It needed refinement, but I love machines of all types! What can I
Cons Umm...honestly, I'm thinking really hard right now, but I can think of none! I have the panoramic sun roof and WOW. I feel like I can live in this thing. The reviewer above states that one of his "cons" is that it's easy to use more fuel because of the
Summary Bottom line is I've owned my SX for about a month now and can't wait to drive it in the morning. This is huge to me because I'm a complete night owl and HATE waking up for work! But with this baby in my carport, I like to peek at the ride from my window upstairs in my bedroom while I look out to check the weather. Morning ritual for me. Also, I was considering a Camry...boring... seriously boring. It felt like the most average car in the world, zero personality. And my other possible choice was an Accord and loved the way it drove, but it was so bare! The options were a ton of money. And they only offered 3yr/36,000 warranty!!! ***? I know Honda's are supposed to last a while or whatever, and but I've had my fair share of automotive mishaps and it involves Hondas too. And if they're cars are so darn reliable, why not just simply offer a 10yr/100,000 warranty? Because they don't trust their vehicles that's why.
Pros The interior is as about as sharp as it gets and easily rivals high end cars. The fuel economy backed with the 274 horse power engine is one of the best in its category.
Cons If it wants to compete with BMW 5 series, then it will need to tighten up the steering and suspension and possible get a new name similar to how Ford has Lincoln or Chevy has Cadillac because the name Kia is the most negative thing about the vehicle.
Summary I traded a 2008 Lincoln MKX Limited in for an Optima SX (my wife owns a 2008 BMW 325xi) and this is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned when it comes to interior quality and technology.
Pros Everything about it... Fresh and new and looks better then the average expedsive car...
Cons Tires. With in a month and a half 750 miles on the car and I have to replace a tire already..... That takes a lot of the love out of this car......
Summary tires stink
Pros Styling, options and looks. I also have to mention that it is a very safe car. If you're ever involved in a crash this is the car you want to be in.
Cons Almost too much for the money therefore making it extremely difficult to even consider any other car out there, if that's a con. It's plastic noisy tires and it could use better handling.
Summary Go out and buy one and invest in new tires.
