Summary Some people continue to try to deny the IS350 its due, but for there are always going to be those who would rather wear the emperor's new clothing, despite reality. Lexus has truly outdone itself with the 350, and the tweaks for 2011 keep the car fresh.

on by tomatosaenzPros Amazing balance between performance and luxury. For around $42,000, give or take a few grand depending on options, you are in for a treat. The engine is obviously a high point, and the new LED parking lights are gorgeous.
Cons As Wayne Cunningham pointed out, the navigation graphics are underwhelming, even though the LCD screen has a superb resolution. I have not had the problems he complained about regarding iPod integration though.
Summary Some may exempt the IS from being a true 3-series killer, but Lexus has indeed found more than just a successful niche with its entry-level sedan. Additionally, the IS350 can be equipped with an F-Sport package, giving it superior handling and connectedness to the road. Even without said package though, the car is a wonder. For its 2011 refresh, the model continues to ooze both style and class, despite the fact it was introduced as a 2006 and a complete overhaul to the IS line is likely due in fall of 2012.

on by jody77r77Pros Styling is fresh and sporty. Engine is always there and then some. Interior is the premium luxury Lexus is known for and the materials are of solid quality.
Cons Hard to mod this car to get extra HP beyond stock other than the intake and exhaust. Some might not view this as necessarily a bad thing though.
Summary Had the pleasure of driving this car for four days while visiting my brother. I'd wake up early just to be able to drive it. The feeling of being the first at a light and just taking off in a car like this is something you must experience. There's even a way to go faster by disabling the traction control but I wasn't about to risk it in a car that wasn't mine. One day I plan on getting one for myself!

Cons Lackluster build quality makes the car seem much older than just 18 months. This goes for interior-exterior fit and finish and as well as buzzy drivetrain noise during normal daily driving. A BMW 3 killer this is not... Seems like overpriced Toyota
