Pros Fuel Mileage, Cabin Technology, roominess, comfortable ride
Cons Takes a while to warm up (and I live in Miami FL). Until the car is warm, for whatever reason, the brakes seem a little more touchy.
Summary I have owned the car for a little over a month. I have been averaging 39mpg during this first 1000 miles. The cabin is very roomy and comfortable. Being and IT person, I love all of the tech built into the vehicle and I have learned the in's and out's of sync. The voice-command system works as advertised and it is great jumping in the vehicle, plugging in the iphone and having total control over it. The technology controls were very easy to pick up and my 7 year old can pretty much do what is needed when asked. Overall, it has been a wonderful vehicle since my purchase. It is a far cry from the 12mpg Land Rover that I replaced but I am getting used to not having the elevated views now.
"An awesome car!"on by menthiac
Pros I love all the luxury items included in the MKZ. The SYNC system allows me to drive and use many features without having to take my attention off of driving. The Navigation system is great (better than on my Prius). I love the Bluetooth feature with my
Cons Have driven aprox. 1,000 miles and so far the best mpg I can get is 31.9. Not sure what I am doing wrong but looking forward to better mileage.
Summary Definitely a great car. I have had many positive comments about the car. I would highly recommend this car for its beauty, luxury and options.
Pros Gas mileage, tech features, ride, peppy for a hybrid, very quiet cabin, excellent sound system (THX).
Cons I don't care for the grille, limited color and interior options, complicated instructions for some of the features.
Summary After driving an Acura TL for 6 years I wanted a car that had at least as many nice features, and was looking to trade off horsepower for gas mileage. The MKZ hybrid fit the bill for me. The instrument panel provides a lot of flexibility for what kinds of data and format for display on things like fuel economy. The navigation system is good, although the traffic display from Sirius is not as detailed as what you can get on a phone. The backup camera and blind spot indicators are very nice and functional touches. The trunk is not large, but it's big enough for all my regular chores and activities. Gas mileage has been low in the winter (35 mpg avg.) but up to 41 on highway trips, and close to 40 for my regular commute. Mileage is low until the car warms up, which can be a while.
Pros Very thrifty on gas, Very quiet, smooth ride. Great technology (Synch, adaptive HID headlights, heated/cooled seats, blind spot detection, back-up camera & sensors, 7 color ambient lighting, Sirius & HD radio, rain-sensing wipers, heated rear vie
Cons Somewhat smaller trunk due to hybrid batteries behind rear seat.
Summary Incredible luxury car that is very fun and economical to drive. Because this car is not an oversized vehicle, it is very easy to park and should fit in any garage with not problem. It is also a very stylish vehicle that doesn't look like all the other imports on the road. I decided I wouldn't buy an American car unless they could complete with import quality. When I checked with Comsumer reports, I found that they actually recommended the Lincoln MKZ and reported it had better than average reliability. Do yourself a favor and test drive the car. The 17" wheels and tires are also a nice touch.
Pros I THINK ITIS TIME FOR LINCOLN TO GO THE WAY OF MERCURY????
Cons EXPLAIN WHY SHOULD I PAY 20 K MORE FOR THIS GLORIFIED FOR FUSION SAME BODY STYLE . THIS REMINDS ME OF THE BABY CADILLIAC OF THE 70's
Summary SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THE LESS MODEL FUSION!!!!!!!!
