I have a 2011 lincoln mkz I drove it on vacation 4000 miles average 29 mpg drove great went to VT up and down the mountains, stop and go never miss a beat had power when you needed it. so I would say, since you know nothing about the car except what you have read. you should talk about something else

STOP reviewing products if you have never used! If you have never driven it, you don't know whether it is really the same as the Ford or not. Social networking is for rambling, Cnet product review forums are for owners of a product to share their experience with potential buyers.

OK, I just drove this car and I must admit it. It does not feel that much more luxurious than the Ford Fusion. I retract my comment from April 16. I now say go for the Ford. Although, if AC in your seat, nicer radio, and rain sensing wipers are what you're looking for - you won't get those on the Ford (not even as options).

#1) there is NOT a 20K difference in price between the MKZ and the Fusion.
#2) You pay more (I paid about about 4K more) for the incredible ride, quiet interior and Lincoln name (yes, the name).
#3) It is clear the person who wrote THIS review doesn't own an MKZ and probably hasn't even driven/ridden in one. Unless you do, please don't even comment.
My MKZ Hybrid is the best car I have ever owned, and I have owned a few. It is the most comfortable, quiet ride I have ever had ... a WONDERFUL car, and the design is typical Lincoln understated elegance.

Don't be silly. The difference is only 6k (comparing base Fusion hybrid to base MKZ hybrid MSRP). Also, there are many more standard luxury features in the MKZ (like heated and COOLED front seats, better sound system, etc.). I think it looks nicer too. It's up to the individual what they prefer to spend money on. For a few thousand more, I think the MKZ worth it over the Fusion - you obviously don't agree - but to give it 2 stars over your "preference" is not fair.
