    Pros: IMO:
    A tolerable back seat, finally!

    Cons: IMO:
    Unestablished reliability.
    Stalk-mounted cruise-control is low-rent and inconvenient.
Roof-line too low - makes ingress\egress more difficult than taller sedans.
    Imported from Mexico.

Summary: IMO: Likely to be clobbered by the new 2011 Chevy Cruze and 2012 Ford Focus.

It has almost always been imported from Mexico! especially the VW Bug! It was the most popular car in Mexico!

That is a very racist comment, I agree Jettas are no super German cars but at least they can easily go over the 180,000 miles without an engine/transmission rebuild... unlike most US made cars.

The fact that they are imported from Mexico, specially the engine... kinda makes us understand how American car companies have played this game with US consumers. Yet, American companies had to almost go bankrupt for them to get their act together (kind of...)

German cars have been very reliable for more than 4 decades, whether they are imported from Mexico or not.
