Summary: I was told I was the first guy to buy the new 2012 TL SHAWD Elite in Vancouver! I bough black on black and I am overall very happy with the purchase. I love the interior room as I am in my car alot and makes driving long distances very comfortable. You can feel the car stick to the road but I do agree the transmission is a little slow in downshifting. The cabin is nice and quiet and love all the tech but we get ripped off in Canada as the car is equiped with some nice features which I am told not available in Canada yet which really sucks. You have to get the 19" rims or I think the car loses its appeal despite the rhinoplasty to the front and rear of the car. I think the car i and the wheel gap are too large for anything less than the nice 19" rims on the Elte trim. Overall I would rather own rthis car than spend 000's more on a Euro car that will be in the repair shop over and over again.

Damn! You're going to make me blow $2,200 on the Advance Package, just for the 19s. Gee, thanks for the EXPENSIVE review. ; )
Seriously, $2,200 for the Advance Package? In order of preference, I'd take the 19s, the ventilated seats and then the BLIS, but for $2,200? That's tough to swallow, given that none of those options is a "must have" for me.
