Summary Overall not satisfied with the car, was told a lot of different things at the dealership - I drive to only two places; work and school and this car absolutely sucks on gas. I am at the gas station every other day. My nissan is only 2 months old but the sounds the engine makes sounds like it's 10 years old. I had to get my windshield wipers replaced twice because they gave me broken ones.

Cons Gas milage (CVT does improve milage, but still not great). Body is bulbous and a bit too big. Would be better as a smaller verhicle aimed at younger families looking for style over "Camryness".
Summary I believe the CNET review is very good and, for the most part, accurate. The only part that I disagree with is the comparison to Toyota Camry. Only my opinion, but I think the Camry is a truly awful vehicle. It is ugly and has barkalounger like handling. The new model does nothing to raise or even move the bar in family sedans. The Altima however, it just about the sportiest of family haulers. Handling is great and power is prodigeous.
