"Great car with features not seen on a car this cheap"
on by BroodnPros Lots of features, roomy on the inside sporty on the outside.
Cons I can't think of any right now
Summary I have the Rallye with the 2.0 liter engine I haven't had any the lag that the turbo supposedly has. The car runs great for what I use it for commuting to work. I wasn't looking for a car that goes 0-60 in 2 seconds. I plan on driving this on a road with a speed limit with other drivers who can barely go the speed limit plus wanted something good gas. Overall I love the car I paid under $20,000 an got a lot of features that only come in luxury cars costing twice as much.

"Best economic car of 2013!"
on by firehawk3Pros Excellent interior and exterior design, exhaust note, comfort, 1.4L engine is sporty, MPGs!
Cons Bit of turbo lag, but nothing a few mods won't fix.
Summary If you're looking for a cheap, economic vehicle, this is it. I own a Rallye with the 1.4L manual and get about 30 mpg combined with a lead foot. This car puts a smile on my face every morning and makes driving enjoyable (for an economy car at least). Dodge came back with a winner in the most competitivecar segment in the US. I love my Dart!

"Terrible Engine; Great Looks"
on by savagefamilyPros Exterior and interior is awesome. Dodge did a great job luring people into the dart by looks alone.
Cons Engine is horrible. 1.4l Turbo has major flaws and needs an engineer that actually knows what they are doing. Dodge engineers are clueless and show signs of total incompetency. I would wait until 2014 or later until Dodge gets a clue.
Summary Engine runs rough, hesitation, major backfires and turbo lag.Under cold conditions, the car jerks when turbo is engaged. Dodge was trying to rewrite their image but I cannot stress enough that they are baiting you in with this car. The car looks great but the engine performs like a P.O.S. We drove the Chevy Cruze and the interior wasn't as nice but the performance is much better. I would go with the Chevy Cruze until Dodge fixes the Dart engine problems. We are regretting our purchase.
