Pros Style, power, economy
Cons well equipped bring this car into a mid level class.
Pros Lots of features, roomy on the inside sporty on the outside.
Cons I can't think of any right now
Summary I have the Rallye with the 2.0 liter engine I haven't had any the lag that the turbo supposedly has. The car runs great for what I use it for commuting to work. I wasn't looking for a car that goes 0-60 in 2 seconds. I plan on driving this on a road with a speed limit with other drivers who can barely go the speed limit plus wanted something good gas. Overall I love the car I paid under $20,000 an got a lot of features that only come in luxury cars costing twice as much.
Pros good looks
good gas mileage
fun to drive
Cons wish it came in a 2 door option
Summary I have the SE with the 2.0 and 6 speed manual transmission. Lots of standard features for a base model. Everything works as it should. people reviewing this vehicle seem to be pissed that they bought the turbo, which offers nothing over the 2.0 in everyday driving. No issues, plenty of power, and averaging 37 mpg with the 2.0 Good enough for me
Ok gas mileage, but I average about 28. Never got over 30.
Cons Horrible hesitation (don't even think you can jump into traffic).
Sputtering while driving in traffic (during coasting in stop-in-go traffic).
Satellite radio module fried in less than 2 months.
Summary I bought the top of the line Limited with the Turbo engine. As long as I drive like Grandma I may live another day in Philly traffic. Overall a bit disappointed with the performance of the engine. I wasn't expecting anything close to my Charger V6 but really?? My hubby's 2007 Mazda 6 (4cyl) has more power and NO hesitations!
Pros Excellent interior and exterior design, exhaust note, comfort, 1.4L engine is sporty, MPGs!
Cons Bit of turbo lag, but nothing a few mods won't fix.
Summary If you're looking for a cheap, economic vehicle, this is it. I own a Rallye with the 1.4L manual and get about 30 mpg combined with a lead foot. This car puts a smile on my face every morning and makes driving enjoyable (for an economy car at least). Dodge came back with a winner in the most competitivecar segment in the US. I love my Dart!
