Pros I've only owned my 2014 Impala LTZ for 2 weeks and have received many compliments from strangers about the car's new design and appearance. I find the response of the V6 engine to meet all expectations and I am pleased with the fuel economy.
Cons There are only one feature that I am not crazy about on this new car. This is the manual shift feature on the gearshift knob which is uncomfortable to my hand, thus not really fun or necessary to use.
Summary The operation of the multitude of electronics did take a few hours of study but once I used the features once or twice, I now find them very user friendly.
The backup camera has a great picture on the 8" center console screen and the alert feature on the side view mirrors when another car is in the "blind spot" works very well.
The interior is well appointed and comfortable. I actually look forward to driving at night as the ambient lighting inside the car is pleasing and the HID headlights really light up the road.
The 2014 Impala is a treat to drive and passengers have complimented on the comfortable ride in the front and back seats. The trunk is huge and the back seats can fold down for additional cargo space. This car has been a real head turner for passersby with the new look. Chevrolet has a winner on its hands and I am a very satisfied customer. I can hardly wait to get it out of the garage in the morning!
