I see a bunch of comments here about no bass. Okay, they're little 2.5" drivers. Here's how to fix it (for $50 in my case):
Go to ebay / pawn shop / Goodwill / wherever.... Find an Bose Acoustimass 5 subwoofer (or equiv, mine is a Series II). You're looking for dual woofers inside with Cube outputs on the back . Attach your 161's to the cube outputs (these carry the same 2 pcs x 2.5 inch speakers as the cubes), and inputs to amplifier. The Bass module will cross over your 161's at an appropriate frequency (seems about 100hz) to allow higher absolute output.
Sounds great in my living room with a Dynaco ST70.
Hope this helps....
