these speakers are awesome, especially since they're discontinued so you can get them DIRT cheap. They replaced my JBL J50 bookshelfs for my surround sound mains. Granted they were old, but they got the job done. I was recently watching an episode of a TV show that I'd seen several times and kept hearing what sounded like traffic outside my house, which there is none. I realized it was the traffic from the scene on TV in which the characters were in a store.
