"THESE SPEAKERS ROCK!!!" on by T-Minator
Pros: Sound, Color, Quality
Cons: The people who try to use this without a dedicated Bass
Summary: 1st, don't buy these if you do NOT have a dedicated bass speaker. They will not sound good, and they shouldn't, as they are designed to be used in a system. 2nd, the only way to explain how great they are would be to listen to them, which you can't do here. 3rd, shop around. I bought these from Circuit City on line and picked them up at their local store, and paid 50% less than what they were charging in-store. I don't think they carry them anymore, but you can get free shipping on these at OneCall.com (3 day Fed-Ex). I also bought the Beta 10, 20, and C360, and the P-12. GREAT SOUND EVERYWHERE!!!

"Made in Heaven" on by kalalaman
Pros: Nice Looking/Powerful
Cons: None I can see
Summary: I did my homework for about 2 months. I finally decided on these. Buying anything threw the mail makes anyone alittle leary, but when they came I knew I made the right choice. They are alittle heavy, but so what. How many times are you going to move them.I hooked these babies up to my Onkyo 7.1 surround system. I cant tell you how Great they sound.I do have a sub woofer, but, they sound great without them.If your interested , try looking at Amazon. Cant go wrong. Tim K. Naples Fl.

Cons: Be aware these are big and heavy speakers
Summary: I've had these speakers for a few months now and I absolutely love them. I have the whole beta line-up in my home theater system and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

"Excellent Speakers" on by cazzwrx
Pros: Sound, looks,price
Cons: Could have prettier shoes
Summary: These are excellent speakers. Dont get me wrong as I have listened carefully to some B&W speakers as the 800D that retails for $20,000 each.
Mi first Home Theater was the Sony Sava15 at the age of 13. They were nice speakers but lacked of power, so soon I wanted more power.
For 10 years I had owned a Technics/Pioneer mixed Home Theater. They were at his time very good speakers at low Hz, but they were a muddy in the mid to high Khz.
The difference is quite stunning both in quality and output volume with the Beta 50 complete package, and my Onkyo SX-TX703S 7.1(1 Center 360, 2 Surr ES-250 and 2 Beta 50). This is an excellent mid level HT. In several reviews they are even compared to brands like M&K, and Axiom. The high Khz sound bright, clear, and without added exagerated detail, as it should, the lows(120-50hz) sound great. I am getting the lower hertz from my Velodyne CHT-12 which, like most things they do, rocks!!!
I can assure you that this combination sound great but only thanks to the complement of the Betas.
