"Killed my iPod" on by josh11morgan
Pros: Looks impressive
Cons: Doesn't sound good. Bass is distorted. Blew up my iPod.
Summary: I am appaled at Klipsch's customer service. I used the iGroove HG with my iPod almost everyday up until it killed my iPod. It stopped playing, and I could immediately smell burnt electronics. When I picked the iPod out of the iGroove sparks shot out from the dock. After sending it in, Klipsh determined that it was their opinion that the iPod has caused the problem. Then sent me both the damaged iGroove and iPod back to me, even though I insisted that the iGroove was still under warranty and wanted it replaced. As far as quality: You can not turn the volume up very loud without hearing all sorts of distortion. The remote control rarely ever works either. I was expecting the sound to be much better for the $200 I spent on this.

"Bose? Bose who?" on by deere2007
Pros: Sound! Bass!
Cons: Bigger than some others, so not as portable. Price. Remote could be better.
Summary: I bought this last night after the salesman said, "Buy it over the Bose"; which was $50 more expensive. He didn't have a demo so he said, "Take it home and try it, or bring it back for a full refund." Wow! So much better than the Bose demo in the store! The bass is nearly twice as better. I wanted the JBL on stage II for portabilities sake, but they didnt have it. I didn't know it was gonna be as large as it was (nearly twice the length as the bose, but with nearly twice the sound, haha) Seems more sturdy too. I need something that I can take on the road with me, and this is a little too much for that. I would keep it, but I already have a 5.1 speaker system at home that plays my MP3s as good, so I will take it back and save $275. By the way, another comparison: That 5.1 system I have, it takes all of those speakers and watts to do what this thing can do alone. That says a lot.

"Superb small unit producing above average sound" on by ngeoffrey
Pros: Small, compatible with all types of MP3 Players not just Ipod, good sound
Cons: If you have an MP3 Player like me which isn't an Ipod such as Creative Zen Vision M, then this speaker will work but the remote features will not and the battery wont be charged by the speaker.
Summary: Overall much better option for non ipod users than the BOSE sounddock which only works with ipods. Produces very good sound and it's a nice looking small unit and better priced than the BOSE.

"Great iPod Dock, but doesn't equal the sound quality of Bose." on by jay4j
Pros: You can find this product priced at $150 and lower sometimes, Great bang for your buck, Good sound Quality, nice design
Cons: the dock seems just a little flimsy and doesn't hold my ipod very well unless you really stick it in there, retail priced the speakers are not worth $300.
Summary: I like the iGroove for it's great looking design, though I would have to disagree with other reviews that might say that the sound is better than that of Bose's SoundDock... The SoundDock hands down just sounds better and more realistic without the need of change the bass or treble. I do think that the iGroove is a good I-pod dock none the less, just not Incredible.
