"Beat Bose Sound Dock in my Kitchen"
Pros: The iGroove had a slightly richer sound to my un trained ear in the acoustically challanged environment of our kitchen. It packs a nice punch for the price.
Cons: It doesn't quite fill a large room. You can't really crank it up to enjoyable levels that would annoy the wife. I wish there were more color options (ie Black)
Summary: I purchased both the Bose Sound Dock and the Klipsch iGroove at our local Best Buy for a head to head comparison. (BTW, I wouldn't have to do this if Best Buy would have both on display.) I am taking the Bose back in the morning. I found the iGroove to have richer nicer sound. Our iPod also sits a little more securely in the iGroove. Our test music ran from Nickleback, Motley Crue(myself) to John Legend, Cher(wife) ...and a little Johny Cash thrown in (neither claims this one).

I'm not crazy about the Klipsh styling, but there's no question this is better than Bose's SoundDock. Bose gear is, to be frank, never the best option. Their systems typically use off the shelf components (you could buy the very same parts at Radio Shack for far less) and puts them in nice looking cases. Klipsh, on the other hand, has a long tradition of high-end audio solutions.
