"bad timbre match for Rti10 and better speakers !"
Pros: great clear sound
Cons: the tweeter is different - not as good - as my Rti10's - so the timbre match is bad. I'm sure anyone with a good Polk Audio tower Front R/L will not be pleased with the difference across the soundstage - Rti12, etc.
Summary: The salesman tried to warn me a couple of years ago when I bought the cs2 but I just ran out of money. So I just ordered the CSi5 to replace my CS2, looking forward to it - the CSi5 has the same tweeter and quality as the rti10's - should be awesome !
I'm sure it should work well for most folks at the lower end of the Polk Audio line - but, as I've learned, the center speaker is so important. I just didn't know back then.
