"Great Floor Speakers!"
Pros: Handles mids and highs very well! good addition to theater system
Cons: doesn't do low end bass frequencies very well if at all
Summary: Okay people on other review sites have said this speaker is a book shelf woofer built in a floor standing cabinet. although the woofer may not be very big it can still push out very big, full bodied sound. By all mean they're not going to give you bass like a floor standing speaker that has a built in powered woofer. these are meant to be front speakers in a theater system. The convenience of not having to mount your front speakers with this set is a great burden off your shoulders. Pair them with some Polk M30s and the 10" Polk sub and you have a well rounded system. Trust me the set up can handle rock music to opera to live concert DVDs to Action packed King Kong and leave your heart pounding.
