"Classy, easy to use, effective."4.0 starson by Sinterbear
Pros: Does what it says. Easy to read, easy to adjust, reliable.
Cons: Entering a complex WiFi password requires patience. You may need to move the Nest to a location different from your current thermostat so that the Nest can detect your coming and going.
Summary: If you current thermostat is located in an out-of-the-way corner, that you infrequently or never pass, like mine was, don't expect the Nest to be able to detect your presence or absence. You might want to consider changing the thermostat location when installing the Nest.
That might be easy, or it might be very difficult, even impossible. If you can't change the location to a place that is viable for both detecting human presence and sensing ambient temperature, you'll have to do some manual scheduling. Fortunately, that's very to do from your computer.
