"How can you write a review of this??"5.0 starson by deegle33
Summary: You can't possibly give this a fair review when it hasn't even been released yet. Can you wait before you **** all over it? Yes, it can now do what your $50 phone could always do but will your $50 phone ever be able to turn itself into a virtual police scanner? Will it ever be able to let you allow you to control your Tivo and iTunes from anywhere on your wireless network? Can it even recognize a wireless network? Can you draw on it? Play hundreds of different games on it? Play it like a harmonica, piano, harp, guitar, ocarina, flute, etc? Can your $50 phone show you where your friends are via GPS? Can it play you one of 32 sounds to help you fall asleep at night? I could go on but it?s pointless. You know you love it, you?re just afraid to admit it. Everyone loves to hate the guy at the top but he is at the top for a reason. The iPhone won?t be the best forever but while it is, stop your unfounded whining and complaining and just admit the truth. It kicks ass and you know it.My $200 + phone makes and receive calls just fine. It always has. It depends on where you live. LIke with any provider. I happen to be in a good area. Actually, the only provider I ever had a problem with (in terms of reception) was Sprint. They were rude too. Hmm, bad choice in providers for the Pre.

FYI......the iphone is not on top. The g1 android has more sales and the iphone is gay.
Actually, the iPhone outsold the G1 Android by nearly 6 to 1 (5.9 to be exact) so you are wrong and your comment about it being gay is sad. How old are you anyway?

He did not write a review sherlock. If you read the title you would have seen that it is a first take. It doesn't even have a rating. How ignorant people become these days.
I was referring to all of the users' reveiws commenting on it (good or bad). Not the CNET writer.

uhm......the I phone is not the guy at the top anymore. I think someone forgot to tell you that the Palm Pre came out on June 6th. The I phone is a little old now and all your trinkets such playing the I phone like a flute seem laughable compared to the Palm Pres TRUE multitasking capabilities. Go get your hands on a Pre......you will forget about the I phone soon enough
The Palm Pre is a very nice phone for those that refuse to buy an iphone. Now Sprint, that's laughable. AT& T may suck sometimes for some people but Sprint is beyond atrocious. I had them before. Never again.

What I don't understand is how YOU can write a 5 star review?! You're complaining about others writing one when it's not out, yet you are contradicting yourself by rating it a 5 yourself...
This is coming from someone who had a iPhone...
It's a great phone if you are a teenage / college kid but as far as for the business user, it doesn't meet the everyday needs.
CNet requires that you give your review a star rating, you simply cannot avoid it. I gave it a five in hopes that it would attract some attention to my review. People tend to look at the one and five star reviews first. IPersonally I wouln't give the 3GS five stars. There is too much roon for improvement.
I am a business user myself and find that it fits my needs as well as the needs of my company quite well. I guess it depends on what you need it to do professionally.
Updated on Jun 24, 2009The 3G network hadn't been rolled out in 2007 with the first release of the iPhone so how would Apple be able to release the same phone back then?
